Nicole Marshall

Ms. Nicole Marshall was born in Buffalo, NY, homeschooled K-8 in Salt Lake City, UT, and went to Lansdale Catholic High School in PA. She was raised in a bi-cultural household with a Mexican mom who fostered a love of her Hispanic culture and the Spanish language and an American dad who taught her to love the outdoors.

Ms. Marshall graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and minors in Finance and Theology. During her time there, she was involved in many activities including the NCAA DIII women’s swimming team, Totus Tuus Maria household, Nicaragua mission trip, the Austria study abroad program, and the Steubenville Conference office.

Upon graduating, she walked the Camino de Santiago which is a pilgrimage that is made across Spain to the tomb of St. James. This was a perfect segue into her year of missionary work. She served at a boarding school run by The Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) in a small town in Mexico called Colon. During her time there, she taught English to middle school students and was a housemom to middle school and high school girls.

Upon returning to the United States, Ms. Marshall started as an Admissions Counselor at Franciscan University and became Assistant Director for a total of three years. She completed her M.S. in Educational Administration in the summer of 2023. She wrote her thesis on The Effects of Technology on High School Students’ Cognitive and Social Abilities.

This summer, Ms. Marshall is excited for the sacrament of marriage. She will become Mrs. Cochrane. Her and her fiance met at Young Catholic Professionals in the summer of 2022. She is looking forward to encountering truth, goodness, and beauty as well as the challenges of marriage with her wonderful future spouse.
