Mary Grace Mangano
Ms. Mary Grace Mangano grew up in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, and earned her BA in English from Villanova University. She then received her Master's of Science in Management from the University of Notre Dame. She continued her studies at Our Lady's university to pursue her Master's of Education through the Alliance for Catholic Education. While in the ACE Teaching Fellows program, Ms. Mangano taught language arts and religion at Saint Ann's School in Pilsen, Chicago. After graduating from ACE, she moved back to the East Coast and began teaching high school English at Cristo Rey New York High School in East Harlem. After four years at CRNY, she again continued her education and earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the University of St. Thomas, while simultaneously teaching at Cristo Rey in North Philadelphia. For the past two years, Ms. Mangano has taught freshmen at Seton Hall University for their introductory English and humanities courses. She is excited to return to a high school setting and to bring her passion and experience to the Martin Saints community. In her spare time, Ms. Mangano loves to write. Her essays, reviews, and poems have appeared in various outlets, and you can find her published work online at marygracemangano.wordpress.com.
