Maria Pisano
Ms. Maria Pisano grew up in Audubon, Pennsylvania, with some of her earliest childhood memories being at St. Titus Parish, where she encountered the Lord in Eucharistic adoration for the first time. She attended Immaculata University, earning a degree in Communication with a concentration in PR and journalism. During her studies, she encountered a group of Catholic peers on fire for Jesus Christ, and the fertile soil of Catholic community allowed her faith to take root in her young adult life.
She discovered a love for admissions as she walked with prospective students and their families as an admissions ambassador, and a love for student life as she served as a resident assistant, president of the CRS student ambassadors, and a founding member of Crown of Creation, a women’s group based in Pope St. John Paul II’s teachings on Theology of the Body.
Upon graduation, she served in multiple avenues in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, including as a staff writer for CatholicPhilly.com, a communication intern for the Vocation Office of the Diocesean Priesthood, and as the Director of Religious Education at Mother of Divine Providence Parish. She is profoundly grateful for these opportunities to witness the Body of Christ fully alive in the Archdiocese through many diverse communities.
Ms. Pisano is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Theology at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, where she continues to encounter truth, beauty and goodness in the “heart of the diocese” (Optatam Totius, 5). At Martin Saints, she is excited to be back on the same campus where she first encountered the Eucharistic Jesus, in order to welcome young people and their families into a thriving Catholic community where they grow in relationship with the Author of truth, beauty and goodness Himself.
