Brenda L. Santana and her husband, Calixto, live in Bethlehem, PA, with their five children. She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Latin American Studies. She brings the joy of Spanish language and culture to her students. Fluent in professional Spanish, Mrs. Santana is passionate about forming students in virtue, language, and faith. She holds AP Spanish Language and Cultures certification from the College Board and encourages students to pursue a Seal of Biliteracy for bilingual excellence. Prior to joining the team at Martin Saints, she taught Spanish, led classical initiatives, and coordinated the Mock Trial team at Bethlehem Catholic High School.

In 2015, she started and co-directed Aquinas Learning, while she homeschooled her children. She served as Director of Religious Education in the Archdiocese of Newark in bilingual communities, and is a member of the Apostolate for Family Consecration, Bloomingdale, Ohio. During her formative years, Mrs. Santana worked in financial services in Spanish-speaking international markets. She discovered Martin Saints as she studied classical education through the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education (ICLE) and in researching the Chesterton Network.
